Co2 Cedar® has long been the favourite as a superb contemporary Cladding timber with very few knots that produces a very clean contemporary finish. The Western Red Cedar that we supply is Grade 2 and better which is one of the better grades to come from Canada.
It can be easy painted, stained or left natural to "silver/grey". We source our timber from FSC/PEFC certified plantations and we aim to keep our carbon footprint to a minimum and encourage sustainable practices. For example, we use our off cuts in our commercial wood burning stove to heat our workshop in winter and provide heat for our kiln drying process.
We take our responsibility to the environment and its sustainability seriously. We have a duty to produce products that has the smallest carbon footprint possible. We strive to look after our planet as best we can, we are constantly assessing our products, raw material and working practice in an effort to produce 0% carbon-not possible we know but it's better for us all to try.
